Kareena sizzled as 'Chammak Challo' and now is making waves with her katil aadayein in the Mujra song 'Dil muft ka' for Agent Vinod. Now be ready to see Kareena Kapoor as 'Munni' in Dabangg 2.
The much-awaited sequel of Dabangg is in the news for all the right reasons. Now it’s heard that Kareena Kapoor will sizzle in the movie, dancing with Salman Khan. The industry is abuzz with the news that Kareena has replaced Malaika Arora to do an item song on the lines of 'Munni Badnaam Hui' in Dabangg 2.

According to the insiders, Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor pairing in Bodyguard was much-liked and thus the actress was the right choice. Also Kareena Kapoor hasn't done an item song since Don. So, there would be a novelty factor to the item number.

Last heard about the item song, either of the composers from the original, Lalit Pandit or Sajid-Wajid would be composing the song for Dabangg 2.

 

                           

The latest buzz surrounding Dabangg 2 is that Kareena Kapoor will be replacing out old Munni Malaika Arora Khan in the item number for the sequel.

Kareena Kapoor who was last seen in a separate item song track was for Don, in which she sizzled alongside Shahrukh Khan and later for SRK again in Billu.

Though Bebo had tracks of her own (item number like) in her own movies, she has not done a item number in any other film. Now in Dabangg 2, which is now taken care by Arbaaz Khan will see Malaika as one the producer we hear.

It is said that Kareena Kapoor's pairing with Salman Khan in Bodyguard has worked out well and the team of Dabangg 2 are hoping to work that magic with an item number. As the team is planning to go bigger in terms of scale, popularity than the previous version, Bebo's item song will only add grandeur to the film states sources.
